Huế’s sweet soups are one of the most popular dishes in the royal citadel city.

In addition to Huế’s cuisine, the province’s landmarks and sight-seeing destinations were also on everyone’s must-visit list.

It is not easy to take in all five world cultural heritages – the Complex of Huế Monuments, Vietnamese court music, Woodblocks of Nguyễn Dynasty, Imperial archives of Nguyễn Dynasty, and royal literature on Huế royal architecture – in one tour around the city.

The event was also to encourage people join in sports for stronger health and better lifestyle.

Organisers said profits from the race were given to local funds for the poor and other charity activities.
